What are Illuminate's fees?

Illuminate offers a single subscription plan at $2.99 per month for investment advice and platform access.

What's Included

The monthly fee covers:

  • Access to guided investing portfolios
  • Automated proxy voting for sustainability policies
  • Commission-free trading in individual stocks and ETFs
  • Climate and sustainability data and insights
  • Investment advice, portfolio management, and administration
  • Trading and custody fees
  • Access to the Climate Center with educational resources

Transaction Costs

We do not charge you additional transaction fees to buy and sell securities within your portfolios or for individual stock and ETF trades. However, funds may carry expense ratios (fund-level fees), which Illuminate aims to minimize and receives no portion of.

When You're Charged

Our advisory fees are collected directly from your bank account. You will be charged on the day you are first invested in Illuminate portfolios and recurring every month after on that same day.

If you withdraw mid-month, we can work with you to return a prorated portion of the management fee for that month.
