How to change my Risk Level or Investment Theme

Your financial needs may change over time, and Illuminate lets you easily adjust your investment preferences to match.

Updating Your Investment Profile

Navigate to the Profile tab in the bottom bar
Select Settings
Click on Investment Profile
From here, you can:

Edit your risk level to make your portfolio more conservative or aggressive (there are 8 risk levels from 1 to 8)
Modify your investment theme for your Guided Investing portfolios. You can customize your portfolio with themes including Climate Technology, Women's Empowerment, Carbon Credits, Water Solutions, and Clean Energy, or just stick with the Core Portfolio.

Changes to investment risk level and theme will apply for your next funding event. If you would like to change your current investments to apply new settings, please send us a message on the app or email hello@illuminate.earth. Please be mindful these investment changes may incur taxes.
