When will my deposited money be available?

We use ACH (Automated Clearing House) for Illuminate funding. All deposits made using our ACH service are subject to a standard 4 business day credit hold. This means that while you may see the deposit reflected in your account balance shortly after initiating the transfer, the funds aren't immediately available for investment purposes.

Though funds may be released and available to invest earlier at our brokerage partner Interactive Brokers' sole discretion, depending on tenure, deposit history and account balance, Interactive Brokers does not provide any guarantees of accelerated processing on all ACH deposits.
