Can I set up a joint account?

Today, we do not offer the option to set up a joint Illuminate account. Our portfolios are recommended based on your individual circumstances and money goals, and each Illuminate account can only be associated with one Social Security Number or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number.

You can link a joint personal checking account to fund your Illuminate investments, even though joint investment accounts aren't supported.

If you are interested in joint account options through Illuminate, please send us a message on the app or email hello@illuminate.earth so we can prioritize new feature rollouts.
